Well,here comes a typical love story with a strong typed message along with this Holi weekend.The first half is light & full of fun moments.After that it takes the emotional turn.The film chopping between two strands – family life and passion.

Alia and Varun starring is very good with their outfits. A career oriented, quintessential girl from a middle class family,who just freed herself from the surroundings and flew away to achieve her passions which added the silver lining to the movie.This one reminds me of how every girl strives their hunger for many aspirations within them.These are some worrisome thoughts that come in every girls life…WHAT TO CHOOSE???career or marriage….Family or goals…some girls have to kill their dreams due to the pressure of the family & partner.This film which even deals with serious issues like the discrimination against the girl child, the dowry system and patriarchy with humour. It isn’t just about the two of them finding their life,it is also about them discovering who they each are, as individuals . Along the way, the narrative also stimulates some gender stereotypes on our head.

However,in some areas the script needed improvement ,where it tried to address the prevailing issue nowadays so deeply imbibed in our society but fails miserably at the core.The storyline is a hotchpotch.If you like slow-paced films that build to something very interesting, then do yourself a favour by watching this afternoon/evening which doesn’t bore you that much.Good one to watch with family.

Attention ethnic lovers out there-Alia wears the nice collections in the movie  😍
